“It is bad that two months after the commissioning of Port Harcourt airport, we are yet to use the new terminal. We all knew from the beginning that the terminal was not ready, but the minister forced the contractor to commission it. Now, months after the forceful commissioning, no one is able to use the terminal. As at Monday, serious work was still ongoing at the terminal and it may not be ready by March next year. That is the challenge we have been facing in this sector," a source told Reporters.

The sad and brutal assasination of the former Chief of Defence Staff and former Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, a day after President Buhari's birthday, is a despicable and cowardly act.
Gentlemen of the Press, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) has again called you up to highlight the continued rejection of President Muhammadu Buhari and his All Progressives Congress (APC) by Nigerians, as well as further to expose the corruption and fleecing of innocent Nigerians by the Buhari Presidency to fund its ill-fated 2019 re-election bid.
Mr. Speaker, Honourable Members, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen.
I thank God for the opportunity, once again, to present this budget address as the Governor of our State. I am most grateful to the people of Rivers State for the honour and privilege of piloting the affairs of the State for the last three and half years.

I am a terminal optimist; 'a believer' in Nigeria's future greatness, that is why three years ago, I would not have believed a bag of rice could be sold for the national minimum wage. With 87million extremely poor people and 13million children out of school in 2018, the mighty has indeed fallen and change has come. Now I know 'all things' are possible in a country ruled by incompetent 'saints'. We have mass starvation in the North East, yet a clan of 'Grass cutters' are making their billions and smiling to the bank with the blood of hungry, homeless children, and internally displaced people in their hands. We hear rumors of 'Bama Initiatives' yet the fraternity in power manufactures internal solutions and our conniving cabinet of 'saints' watch in silence. They seek another term for their inaction, they call out the nation to pray for God to bless their cluelessness while we wait forever, for just anyone to answer the 'grass cutter's' question; 'who is the presidency?'
