Felicitations As Justice Omereji Clocks 65, Retires From Bench

The retirement of Hon. Justice George O. Omereji after 35 years of active service as judge with the Rivers State Judiciary has continued to elicit messages of goodwill from family members, colleagues, friends and well-wishers across the state and nation at large.

From his native Egbeda Community in Emohua Local Government Area, the Council of Chiefs led by HRH (elect), Chief Friday C.J. Ordukwu have joined millions of well-wishers to express their gratitude to the revered and erudite jurist for a successful career.

Chief Ordukwu, in a signed goodwill message, said Justice Omereji 'came, saw and conquered' and honorably retired after 35 years of meritorious service to the state, nation and world at large.  He enjoined the upcoming generation to draw from Omereji's exemplary life and tread on the good paths he walked on.

The Royal Highness-elect said he is also elated at the jurist who has clocked 65 years on earth while wishing him a happy and prosperous birthday celebration.

“I am proud of you and your numerous achievements as an outstanding Justice of the High Court of Rivers State.  You are an icon, imbued with the wisdom of Solomon and you have used your God-given wisdom to execute justice for humanity.  May you enjoy a bountifully new chapter of your life”, Ordukwu wrote.
