Atiku Care Foundation Hails PDP Over Successful National Convention

As reactions continue to trail the successful special PDP national convention which was held at Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port-Harcourt, a non-governmental organization known as Atiku Care Foundation says the outcome of the primary election that produced Alh. Atiku Abubakar as its presidential candidate is a welcome development.

Speaking to newsmen in their separate remarks shortly after the exercise, the national chairman of Atiku Care Foundation, Amb. Aliyu Bin Abbas and the Rivers State chapter chairman, Hon Meshack Onyeche said the emergence of the former vice president of Nigeria did not come to them as a surprise, considering the track record of achievements of the Adamawa born politician of international repute.  

They noted that Alh. Atiku Abubakar, and Waziri Adamawa is the highest employer of Labour with over two hundred and fifty workers employed in his private companies scattered all over Nigeria, especially in Niger Delta, a philanthropist, a detribalized Nigerian, a sound administrator and above all, a successful businessman, whose investments go beyond the shores of the country, adding that, even the less privileged such as widows, orphans, physically challenged, including youths from all parts of the country are still enjoying from the generosity of the former vice president.

The two leaders of the body also observed that Atiku is a strong believer in true federalism, restructuring, economic diversification which will ultimately pave way for sound economic prosperity through resource control and other economic policies that will fast-track the speedy development of the country, arguing further that his vast experience, contacts and connections from across the globe will certainly make the country work again, restore her past glory in readiness to compare and compete with other fast-developing countries of the world.

The duo also used the forum to thank all members of ACF across the country for their prayers, resilience, sacrifices and commitment to the cause of this great movement which has yielded positive results, stressing that their support and efforts are now seriously needed for the final and total victory for PDP flag bearers jostling for positions including the presidency in 2019 general elections.

While congratulating the PDP presidential flag-bearer, Atiku Abubakar, the host Governor, Barr. Nyesom Wike, stakeholders, party delegates, chieftains, other presidential aspirants as well as the teeming supporters of the peaceful, orderly and successful conduct of the convention.

The ACF leader also pointed out that the exercise was worthy of emulation by other parties, especially the APC that PDP has been truly rebranded to give Nigerians better leadership which they have been yearning for over the years, stressing that with the coming on board of Atiku in 2019, the lingering poverty, deprivations, marginalization and other forms of human sufferings will be a thing of the past.
