A Nigerian girl has shone like the stars in academic exploit in the distant shores of Hungary.
Miss Amarachi Onyinyechi Osuji came up tops with a First Class degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Debrecen, Hungary.
The Imo State born wonder kid posted a CGPA of 4.0 over 5.0 to beat her contemporaries to bag first class with Distinction.
Her excited dad and Port Harcourt based legal practitioner, Clem Osuji Esq. in a phone interview with National Network showered adulations to the Almighty God.
“We are indeed proud parents. We were given the first two seats on the first row in the graduation ceremony hall as the proud parents of not only a First Class graduate but a First Class graduate with Distinction in the First Class category”.
Miss Osuji went to her twitter handle @ms_osj*1d:
“What a wonderful way to start the year. I finally rounded off my undergrad program and graduated with a FIRST CLASS with DISTINCTION.
“The journey to this point was not straight or rosy at all. I went from being miserable for 3 years in medical school to thriving in Engineering School and finally graduating with a 4.9 CGPA over 5. 0. Leaving Medical School when I did remains one of the best decisions of my life so far.
“I am forever grateful to my parents who understood and trusted my decision to tow this path. Thanks for all the sacrifices and unwavering support.
“I am currently looking for graduate intern/ graduate trainee positions, preferably in Lagos where I can gain some practical experience in the field. If anyone knows any recruiters or companies that are hiring, please mention them in the comment section.
“Many thanks. 2020 is definitely off to a great start and it will only get better”.
