Dogara’s Defection Preempts Akpabio’s  List – Anonymous

There's a saying which goes that, "the fear of God, is the beginning of wisdom." In this case, the "God" remains Politicians. There's a saying which goes that, "the fear of God, is the beginning of wisdom." In this case, the "God" remains Politicians. In the mid hours of this day, the former Speaker of the Nigeria's House of Representatives, Honourable Yakubu Dogara was on a visit to the President at his Villa in Aso Rock.

According to reports by different media houses, Honourable Yakubu Dogara's visit was for the purpose of decamping from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Party (APC).

Affirming the decamp was President Muhammadu Buhari's Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad who said, "Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC)..."

Lastly on the report given by the P.A is that, "That's purely politics, no rule is broken here, Obaseki left and Dogara is back. That's the law of this game, when you leave, another will come and fill the space. And it will continue to be like that till the end of the game. The best, don't stress yourself over it."

Without mincing words, should the New Media PA tell citizens not to stress over issues concerning their father land?

That aside, the thing I'm suspecting and which I think you should too is; isn't there more to Dogara's defect to APC?

Remember that, Godswill Akpabio was been charged recently by Gbajabiamila to provide list of Lawmakers involved in the Niger Delta Development Commission's (NDDC) gargantuan flimsy contracts.

This request hasn't been met till this moment. It is noteworthy to remind you that, Senator Godswill Akpabio was the one behind the order given to him by the Honorable Speaker of House of Representative, Femi Gbajabiamila because, he'd pronounced a questionable thing as the NDDC saga ensued.

The other question is; why would Dogara defect at this point? Aren't there fictitious things happening here? Isn't anything drumming on our ears?

These are questions we need to ask ourselves. Remember, "A new broom sweeps clean but an old broom knows the corners." Dogara has seen APC as a haven which would, perhaps, shade him from being probed if found mentioned in the awaited NDDC lawmaker's list. If not that, then why the sudden defection?
