Speaking during the meeting of NDYPD, Board of Trustees on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, the Chairman, BOT, Amb Prince Tonye Jeminimiema announced that members of the organisation across the state have unanimously affirm that the state is in safe hands under Gov. Nyesom Wike. He stressed that the organisation interfaced with candidates of several political parties and also studied their blueprints and manifestos but none could match up with that of the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party -PDP.
"For the interest of the youths and members of the state, we painstakingly interfaced with candidates and studied several blueprints of gubernatorialAd manifestos of political parties and discovered that the youths are better placed for empowerment and employment with the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP".
Amb. Jeminimiema described Gov. Wike as pragmatic and practical in his approach to the development of the state and one who has a burning passion to position the state in its pride of place.
The chairman called on all members of the organisation across the twenty three Local Government Areas of the state to mobilise and cast their votes for the incumbent Governor and all other PDP candidates during the elections on Saturday, March 9.
