Justice Folashade Ogunbanjo gave the order while ruling on a motion filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Ogunbanjo granted EFCC’s request to temporarily seize and publish an advert on the properties linked to Maina in a national daily.
This, the anti-graft agency said, would allow interested parties with reasons why the government should not permanently seize the properties to come forward with proof.
The EFCC said the application was pursuant to Section 17 of the Money Laundering Act.
The court consequently granted the applicant for the court to publish the properties in a national newspaper.
