Orazi Youth Movement Elects New Exco

The Orazi Youths Movement (OYM), has elected new executives to pilot its affairs in the next two years.

Those elected were Samuel Ogonda Victor, President; Kuti Akaninwor, Vice President; Junior Otubadu, General Secretary; and David Zuru Akaninwor, Asst. Sec others were Tony Akaninwor, Fin Sec; Peter Akaninwor, PRO; Ndidi Kinika  Akaninwor, Treasurer and Precious Isreal, Director of Socials.

The eleco chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Joe Paul in his remarks said they tried their best to ensure a free, fair and credible election that was acceptable to all, and thanked the Orazi people who found them worthy for the assignment.

In his acceptance speech, the Youth President, Mr. Samuel Ogonda Victor thanked everybody that made his victory possible and promised to run an all inclusive government.

He thanked the Eleco for their transparent job that was acceptable to all the aspirants.

He equally expressed his appreciation to his fellow contestants for the post including Buduka Akaninwor, Wilson Asor Akaninwor and Bobo Justice Osman for giving him a good fight.

The OYM President, 7th in the series, used the opportunity to reel out his 7, point agenda which he noted is achievable within his two year tenure to include, unemployment; insecurity; street naming; scholarship procurement; provision of youth bus; provision of mobile banking as well as stability of electricity in the community.

Mr. Samuel Ogonda Victor made it clear that he had the capacity to deliver on his manifesto as a manager of human and material resources.

He also promised to work with the youths, women, chiefs, elders and indeed all stakeholders including the security agencies to move the Orazi community forward. 

The OYM Executives were later inaugurated by the immediate past president Dike Favour Isreal and Certificate of Returns issued to the elected members.

The OYM president, Mr. Samuel Ogonda Victor used the opportunity to dissolve all committees including the CLOs and CSO urging the occupants to handover the youths property in their possession, to the youth body.
