Among the dignitaries present were former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote; and the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Others in attendance included former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami; former Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal; former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani; and former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka.
Also present were the governors of Borno, Kaduna and Niger states — Babagana Zulum, Uba Sani, and Umar Bago — who joined in offering prayers for the repose of the deceased. Following the funeral rites, Umma was interred at the Gudu Cemetery after the completion of the Janazah prayer.
