Fear Grips Omoku Residents As Unknown Gunmen Invade Town, Kill 3 Persons

There is palpable fear among residents of Omoku town in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State following reported invasion and killing of three persons by unknown gunmen suspected to be  cultists last Friday.

Some natives who spoke to our correspondent on phone claimed that three persons suspected to be OSPAC, local vigilante members were killed in Okposi, Egi and in a popular hotel in Omoku and its evirons.

The residents called on OSPAC and the Police to re-strategies to avoid a re-occurrence.

The report of the killing is raising concerns if OSPAC that is believed to have potent charm that makes it impossible for bullet or knife to penetrate their body have been demystify.

The Commander of OSPAC in ONELGA who also doubles as the Commander General of OSPAC in Rivers State, Kingsley Ogumike declined comment when contacted by National Network reporter on the incident.

A top commander of OSPAC who pleaded anonymity disclosed that the people who were killed are not OSPAC members but informants to OSPAC.

The spokesperson of Rivers State Police command, SP Nnamdi Omoni responding via a text message said he is not aware of the incident yet.
