…As Reinhard Bonnke’s Successor Prays For Rivers Gov, People
The Great Gospel Crusade of the Christ for All Nations (CFAN) in Port Harcourt entered Day Three on Saturday night with special prayers for Rivers State, her government and people.
Thousands of worshippers lifted their voices in prayer, committing Governor Wike and the state to God. They asked for divine enablement for the governor to sustain good governance for the growth of the state .
In line with his pledge, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, his wife, Justice Eberechi Suzzette Nyesom-Wike and top government officials were joined by the PDP National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus for the third night of the crusade.
Apostle Eugene Ogu led the prayers for the lifting of Rivers State by God through his divine intervention.
He said that God has strategically placed Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as the leader of Rivers State with the purpose of transforming the state.
The cleric prayed God to stretch his hand to hasten the progress of the state and dismantle all structures of conspiracy and wickedness against the state.
He prayed for divine and angelic assistance for Governor Wike to enable him achieve the development of Rivers State.
President of CFAN, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda urged preachers, politicians and other Christians to change their ways and commit their lives to God.
He advised them to emulate Zaccheus in the Bible who abandoned his evil ways and embraced a Godly lifestyle that honoured God.
Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Crusade, Bishop Winston Iwo commended Governor Wike for his commitment to expanding the frontiers of the gospel through direct support for the Church.
He said the construction of the State Ecumenical Centre, the Government House Chapel of Everlasting Grace and the release of the NLNG Sandfill for the Great Gospel Crusade are clear indicators of Governor’s love for the gospel.
Iwo, who is also Special Adviser to the Rivers State Governor on Religious Affairs said that the church will continue to uphold the governor in prayers.
American Worship Leader, Eddie James led Christian Faithful at the Great Gospel Crusade on a soul lifting praise session that released the Holy Spirit.
Sensational Bamidele also led the congregation in another praise and worship session.
