Wife Of Tide’s Tonye Orabere Laid To Rest Amidst Tears

The remains of Late Mrs. Salome Tonye Orabere, wife of Mr. Tonye Orabere of the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC) has been laid to rest.

The burial ceremony, which had a great number of practising journalists in the State in attendance, was a pathetic and sorrowful event as nobody could not help crying over the untimely death of a woman, who left three children and a young husband behind.

In his sermon, the officiating clergy, Pastor Adekunle Adeyanju, enjoined all not to cry like those without hope, adding that what human beings see as untimely death may be the right time with God, stressing that Mrs Salome passed on in accordance with God’s timetable.

He reminded Christians of the need to be ready, as no one knows the time the owner of life will take back his property, as well as the need to fulfill God’s purpose while alive.

Using Ecclesiastes chapter 3 verse 2 to 3, Pastor Adeyanju maintained that there is time for everything under the heaven, a time to born and a time to die and called on all to live a life that is pleasing to God.

He prayed God to give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, noting that death is a necessary appointment, which every living being must keep, irrespective of age.
