Oba Of Ogbaland Mourns Eze Ekpeye Logbo

…Describe Demise Death As Great Loss

The Oba (Eze-Ogba) of Ogbaland and former Chairman, Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Eminence, Sir (Dr.) Chukumela Nnam Obi II (OON, DSSRS, JP) has joined other prominent Nigerians to mourn the home call of the Eze Ekpeye Logbo of Ekpeye kingdom, His Majesty, Eze  (Flt, Lt.) Robinson Okporonwa Robinson (Rtd) CFR, JP, saying that his exit is unfortunate, painful and a big loss.

The Ogba monarch in a statement signed by his media aide, Prince C. C. Amadike-Otoboh, JP described the late Eze Ekpeye Logbo as one of the respected Royal fathers in the Country who will be remembered for leaving behind a good legacy for his people and the traditional institution at large.

Oba Chukumela Obi II, a brother and friend to the late Ekpeye King (the crocodile) further described him as an iroko. His demise is a  great loss to the traditional institution and the entire country, he said.

According to the Ogba monarch, Eze Robinson, one of the great sons of Akalaka, has fought and successfully finished his race on earth with ovation and has met his creator, adding that though death is painful but the home call of the Royal father at the age he spent on earth before departure is an indication of a life well spent.

Oba Chukumela Obi II, on behalf of himself and the entire good people of Ogba Ethnic Nationality condoles, with all Traditional Rulers in the South–South Geo-Political Zone, the government and people of Rivers State, the people of Ekpeye Kingdom and indeed all Nigerians on the passage of Eze Ekpeye Logbo, and prayed for the repose of his soul, his family will be in his prayers.
