A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has mocked former Lagos state governor Bola Tinubu for repeating history.
Omokri was reacting to a recent statement by Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai wherein he said he would teach Lagosians how to get rid of godfatherism in the state.
Omokri, while speaking via a few tweets on Tuesday said Tinubu, a National leader of the ruling APC has been used to get the South West to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term bid, and El-Rufai has now been sent to “teach Lagosians how to get rid” of the same Tinubu.

First, they used Bola @AsiwajuTinubu to get the votes of Lagos and the Southwest, then they send @Elrufai to teach Lagos and the Southwest how to get rid of the same Tinubu. This is exactly what was done to Afonja in Ilorin by Alimi. Tinubu has just repeated history!
Tinubu refused to learn from history. History does not repeat itself. Instead, it is men, like @AsiwajuTinubu, who repeat history! Tinubu should go and ask @Atiku about @Elrufai. El-Rufai will kneel down to you when he needs you and talk down at you when he’s finished using you!
