WOVBI  Matriculation: Principal Charges New Intakes To Increase Knowledge

Rhema Chapel International Churches, Port Harcourt has marked the matriculation of the second set of the Word of Victory Bible Institute, with a charge to the new students not to draw back in the face of challenges , even as they pursue knowledge for their spiritual growth.

This was part of the commencement message delivered by the Principal of WOVBI and Minister-in-Charge of the Rhema Chapel International Churches, Port Harcourt, on the occasion of the 2019 Matriculation of the second set of Certificate Course last Sunday.

But he commended the ministers of God whom he emphasized labored to teach courses at the Bible school. He informed that, already, the school has graduated its for set in Port Harcourt installation and those who underwent the school as the first set of Certificate students would have their graduation ceremony at the ministry’s international headquarters at Ilorin, the Kwara State capital in the course of the year.

But to the matriculating certificate students and returning diploma counterparts, the principal stated thus:” You have taken one of the most important decisions after you have given your life to Christ. Knowledge won’t find you, you are the one to look for knowledge.”

He noted that those who had succeeded in life made it by dint of knowledge acquisition, even as he delved into the spiritual significance of the ceremony, saying that the new born babes are to desire the sincere milk of the Word and as they grow to maturity they would require strong meat later in life ,drawing from 1 Peter 2:2.

He stressed the fact that knowledge acquisition is what is required for a Christian to graduate from one level to the other.

He further tasked them to spare nothing at acquiring knowledge which he opined is better than gold. According to him, every child of God has a ministry which should be developed by individuals.

“You need to sharpen your ministerial edge”, he said observing that the Bible school provides   the avenue for them to grow spiritually.

He informed the congregation that people find destiny in the place of knowledge acquisition, while others could miss it without it. He tasked both the certificate and the diploma students to hit the ground running as there was no time to waste, even as he noted that their resolve to pursue knowledge will rob them of some social relationships in the meantime.
