The Rivers State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has announced the death of one of its members, Mr. Fyneface Aaron.
In a statement signed by its Secretary, the Rivers NUJ said late Fyneface Aaron died early this year and would be buried on the 26th of July, 2019 at his home town Itu- Ogba, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Rivers State.
The Council extended its condolences to the immediate family of the deceased member, the management of the Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC) and the Tide Chapel of the NUJ.
The council noted that the late Aaron was the Assistant Deputy Editor of the Tide Newspaper before his sudden demise.
The statement read: “Death has yet again snatched a fine journalist and an illustrious son of the State from us and we would miss him dearly”.
The Council however prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest, adding that as a committed professional, the late Aaron was friendly and a believer in compliance with the ethics of the journalism profession.
