Peace, Panacea For Unity – RSHA Speaker

Speaker, Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Ikuinyi Owaji Ibani  has described peace as a very important and necessary ingredient in achieving the needed unity in the state.

He said this during a valedictory session held in honour of a former member who represented Degema Constituency in the Second Republic, late Hon. Ngoye Igobo at the Assembly Complex.

He advised the youths whom he referred as the future leaders to always maintain peace to enhance more growth and development in the state.

Stressing the need for a peaceful co-existence among the different communities in the state, Rt. Hon Ikuinyi Owaji Ibani maintained that peace is the panacea for unity in the state.

On his part, the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Martin Chike Amaewhule, while paying tribute to the fallen lawmaker noted that the legacy the former lawmaker, Ngoye Igobo left behind is worth emulating in the society and prayed God to grant the departed eternal rest.

Also the lawmaker representing Degema constituency Anthony Soberekon who joined other lawmakers in paying tribute to the late former lawmaker Ngoye Igobo urged the family members to be more united in the society.

The valedictory session which was meant to honour a fallen colleague was graced by present and former lawmakers especially lawmakers in the Second Republic , his family members friends and well wishers .
