National Network Newspaper Holds 15th Anniversary, Friday, Oct. 18
…With Gov Wike, Special Guest of Honour; Bro Obuah, Father of the Day, Okah, Chairman of Occasion
National Network Newspaper will be celebrating its 15yrs of uninterrupted publishing on Friday, October 18, 2019.
The epoch-making event which will be held at the Atlantic Hall of the Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt, will feature among other things, a public lecture by the Director of the University of Port Harcourt Business School and Professor of Economics, Prof. Okechuku Onuchuku on the topic, The Media and Sustainable Development in Nigeria: The Case of Rivers State; various cultural displays; presentations; awards to individuals, groups and corporate organizations that have distinguished themselves in their respective endeavours, professions or careers as a motivation for industry, innovativeness and contribution to human and national development.
The ceremony which has Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as Special Guest of Honour; Bro. Felix Obuah as Father of the Day and Barr. Emma Okah as Chairman of the Occasion, will start by 12noon prompt.
The National Network 15th anniversary will be rounded off with a thanksgiving church service at the Church of God (Seventh Day), Family Worship Centre, 3, Victor Ihunwu Street, Eagle Island, Port Harcourt. Time is 10am.
Recall that National Network was born on October 1, 2004, to occupy a yawning gap in the journalism profession, especially with respect to thorough coverage of Rivers State and the entire South-South region. Since then, there has been a dramatic change on the publishing landscape of Rivers State.
