NLNG 20/30 Anniversary: Coy Commends Indigenes, As Amanyanabo Urges Sustained Relationship
As part of activities marking the NLNG 20/30 anniversary, the NLNG management has paid a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty, King Dr. Edward Asimini William Pepple III, Amanyanabo of Ancient Grand Bonny Kingdom.
In his address, MD/CEO, NLNG, Mr. Tony Atta, on behalf of his management team, gave kudos to the Monarch for the roles played by Bonny Kingdom during the inception of Train 1 to 6, as he solicited more supports for the arrival of Train 7, due to kick off soon.
At the groundbreaking for Bonny consulate building, His Majesty who led his council of chiefs lauded the NLNG for its invaluable contributions to Bonny Kingdom.
He noted that the Kingdom is exceptionally blessed with natural endowments which helped to pull varied economic interests to the Kingdom since the 15th century when the Kingdom became a major trading port in the Eastern Delta and a gateway to international trade with the arrival of the Portugues tonour shores.
He described the Bonny Consulate Building being commissioned as a huge gift from Nigeria NLG to Bonny Kingdom. He thanked the board, shareholders and management of the company for touching the very critical aspect of the existence of the people as “a home of the harbor of great value.” The Majesty also noted that the company had delivered a good CSR initiatives and unrelenting commitment to the advancement of the Kingdom.
