The chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Senior Apostle Stanley Dimkpa has called on Christians to be united irrespective of the denomination they belong to.
He made the call at The Church of God (Seventh Day) family worship center,during the 15th anniversary thanksgiving service of National Network Newspaper.
He maintained that Christians should know that it is only one God that we all serve and worship and should therefore see themselves as one.
Citing Ephesians 4:4-7, the man of God said that all Christians have one God, one hope, one faith and one baptism stressing that all Christians in no pastor’s name but Christ’s.
He said that though every church has its own peculiar doctrine and style of worship that does not change the fact that Christians worship the same God.
” The differences we all perceive is as a result of the different gifts and which determine the various ways we perform”, he noted.
He enjoined all Christians to have the same mind and always speak with one voice which according to him will make the world a better place.
Apostle Dimkpa called on all Christians to identify with CAN, the umbrella body in order to pray in one accord to enable the body of Christ achieve the needed peace in the state and country at large.
