KDCSA Inaugurates Rivers Executive

In a bid to reduce poverty among Christians in Rivers State and the nation at large, the King David Christian Support Association (KDCSA) has inaugurated men and women that would pilot its affairs at the grassroots.

The inaugural conference which was held at the Shield of Faith Gospel Mission in Port Harcourt over the weekend had as its theme: “That they may be one even as we are one” also had in attendance, its national officers from the South-South and South East.

Speaking at the event, the guest speaker, Arch Bishop Eti Etop Udo stressed the need for unity among members, saying “the ability to stay in one accord will make us grow as a body. We should not welcome gossiping but to always love and speak with one voice so that God can answer us”.

He also expressed the need for team work so as to enable all members partake in the good things that will come later to the association, pointing out, “No one should give room for rancor, back stabbing, ungodly habits that will kill the spirit of love and true fellowship”.

Also speaking at the occasion, Apostle Henry Samson, National Coordinator of KDCSA said that “By the time Christians stop fighting for position, it will be better for us in Christendom, saying that King David Association is a blessed one, therefore enjoining more people to become members as according to him, “We are in this body to affect lives positively”.

In his welcome address, Apostle Enobong Paul, Regional Coordinator, South-South/South-East said the body was born with the mandate to support evangelism and help to reduce poverty among Christians in Nigeria.

In his words, “The main focus and vision is not just to share money to people but rather to use all the resources God has given to our mentor to mobilize the church in Nigeria for the task of soul winning. Whatever aid that will be given to you is not for your personal consumption, but also to enable members face God’s work. Poverty will no longer be an excuse to hinder God’s work”.

Highlight of the event was the swearing in of the following national offers: Apostle Grace G. Sakanwi, National Bride of Christ; Rev. Jummy G. Udoakpan, National Welfare Officer; Evang. Kasemi B. Saka, General Secretary; Bishop Jones Ogorroi, Security Officer; Evangelist Bariadora F. Pirinee, PRO and Barr. Tamuno Long-John, Legal Adviser.

State officers sworn in include: Mr. Emmanuel Paul Udo, State Coordinator; Mr. Jeremiah Utip Innocent, General Secretary; Pastor Enobong Edide, Welfare Officer; Bishop Cornelius Uranta, Prayer Coordinator; Evangelist Ibiwari H. Pepple, Adviser; Evangelist Glosry Famson, Bride of Christ; Rev. Iheanacho Williams, Transportation; Evang. Friday Bari Sunday, Inspector; Apost. Kufre S. Bassey, PRO; Evang. Rose Webilor and Prophet Good’sright Tamunotonye, Inspector.
