Clergyman Prescribes Aggressive Praise To Rise Above COVID-19 Challenges

Just as the spread of coronavirus has continued to increase fear among many across the world, a man of God has challenged Christians to embark on aggressive praise of God to overcome the COVID-19 times.

Minister-in-Charge (M.I.C) of Rhema Chapel International Churches, Port Harcourt, Pastor Abiola Ajadi stated this as he addressed church members through Sunday service online.

He noted that aggressive praise remains an antidote to present times challenges, as it has the capacity to bring God’s presence down upon any situation.

According to Pastor Ajadi, aggressive Praise equals to excessive, strange, unusual praise and it is called for during abnormal situation.

The M. I. C recounted the situation Paul and Silas found themselves in Bible days and the war they waged through singing praises unto God in the prison which consequently led to their victory.

He said that the abnormal situation which humanity finals itself currently calls for an abnormal praise to God.

But he noted that praise is a supernatural force that gives access into the heavenlies. He urged Christians to praise God ‘outrageously’ in their homes, stating that praises unto the Lord is fitting.

On what the power of praise can do in the lives of individuals, Pst. Ajadi stressed that it can break and shatter the power of the kingdom of darkness. He added that praise would help individuals shift attention away from self and help focus on God, including bringing those who exercise praising God to the place of humility because of the tendency for man to be reminded that his dependency is of God.

The Pastor quoted the scriptures from Psalm 95:2-3, II Chronicles 10:22 to explain the import and power of praise. He warned believers to refrain from being psychedelic at this time but be committed to praising God always in order to enjoy his miracles and victory.
