The Covid-19 pandemic may have come with its attendant discomfort but, as the saying goes, life must go on. This was amply displayed at the newsroom of National Network office in Port Harcourt on Monday, May25, 2020 when the Woman Editor of the weekly publication, Mrs. Ngozi Anosike celebrated her birthday, witnessed by staff and management.

No thanks to this Covid-19’s anti-social order which literally prohibited people from social contact, hence everyone was wary and could not dance nor move freely.
In the end, it was an event well savoured, with drinks and a tasteful birthday cake joyfully eaten by all.
Speaking at the event, the Publisher of National Network, Pastor Jerry Needam expressed joy, saying it gladdened his heart when staff celebrate with one another and prayed God to grant the celebrant more years of celebration.
The Publisher also prayed for speedy solution to the ravaging coronavirus pandemic which has crippled social and economic activities the world over.
In her speech, Mrs. Anosike thanked all staff of the tabloid for identifying with her in what she described as a special moment of her life. She acknowledged that God has added one year in her life which she described as eventful.
Highlight of the event, aside the melodious happy birthday song that was led by Editor, Ken Asinobi, the General Manager/Editor-in-chief, Chris Konkwo led a special prayer for the celebrant, to crown the blaze of glory.
