Rot In NDDC: Akpabio Forced Me To Take Oath To Commit Fraud

The immediate past Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Joi Yimebe Nunieh has claimed that the current Minister of Niger Delta and a former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio forced her to take an Oath three times in other to commit fraud at the commission.

She made the statement at the outdoor after the Investigative hearing before Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi, All Progressives Congress, APC, Ekiti North led Ad-hoc that is probing the alleged financial recklessness to the tune of N40 billion by the Interim Management Committee, IMC, of the NDDC, between January and March this year. Joi said that she has faced many strike from Akpabio who in many ways tried using her as an agent of fraud at the NDDC.

While speaking with Journalist after the meeting, Joi said that Senator Godswill Akpabio wanted to compel her to swear to an oath of secrecy and loyalty. Torixus reports.

Airing that Akpabio told her to raise a memo and give an emergency contract for flood victims. She also said Akpabio pressured her three times to take an Oath cornering swindling contracts on water hyacinth until they had a reconciliation meeting in the house of Mohammed Sarki Abba at the Villa.

Before concluding her statement, Akpabio allegedly sent thugs to disrupt Joi Nunieh’s Interview where she exposed Akpabio’s Fraud at the NDDC.
