As the development train of Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike administration heads for Ogoni, the third visit to the Rivers South-Eastern Community in one month, the member representing Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dumnamene Robinson Dekor says all is set to accord the Mene Kwalenu I of Ogoni a rousing welcome to his second home.
Rt. Hon. Dekor said Gov Wike’s second visit to Ogoni in two weeks to flag-off the construction of another project, now the Government Secondary School Kpor, Gokana Local Government Area, Rivers State, is a rare privilege.
The lawmaker who is also the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Host Communities said the people are already in electric mood and are highly excited at the quick turnaround of events in Ogoniland courtesy His Excellency, Chief Barr Nyesom Ezenwo Wike who has continued to match his words with action about his desire to make Ogoni a focal point of his administration.
The former Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly and, former Commissioner for Work expressed joy that his kinsmen listened to them when it mattered most and are now reaping the fruits of their faith and trust.
He reassured of the unwavering support of his people to the Wike administration and urged all Ogoni sons and daughters to file out in their numbers Wednesday, June 9, to receive His Excellency to Gokana Local Government Area of Ogoni.
