Clergyman Discloses How Obaseki Saved Him From Assassination

Popular Cleric, Johnson Suleman, has revealed how Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki saved him and his family from assassination in 2018.

Suleman, who is the General Overseer of Omega Fire ministries, made the revelation on Sunday, September 6, when Obaseki, who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the forthcoming governorship election in Edo state, visited the church headquarters in the state with his deputy, Philip Shuaibu.

Suleman disclosed that he would have been killed in 2018 when some people sent hired assassins to his church on New Year’s Day.

He said that the assassins were waiting for the church to start shouting Happy New Year before they would open fire in the church to kill him. He added that the governor got the information before him and sent security personnel to track the assassins and deal with them.

He expressed deep gratitude to the Governor for saving him.
