Rumuagholu CDC Chairman Calls For Unity
The community Development Committee Chairman of Rumuagholu in Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State, Henry Onyebuchi Amadi has called on the sons and daughters of the community to come together as one big family and speak with one voice so as to promote love, peace and unity in the area.
Comrade Amadi made the call during a get together party organized by the Paramount ruler of the community, HRH, Eze Bekwele Weli on Thursday, December 29,2020, saying peace is the bedrock of development in any given community.
He urged the youths, elders, chiefs, men and women to cherish one another , put away strife and work together with the king whom the court as confirmed and also the one who has the mandate to rule the community.
He said it would be wise to join forces with the king to move the community forward.
The CDC chairman appealed to the youths of the community not to allow themselves to be used by anybody to cause violence in the community.
He also commended the Paramount ruler for maintaining peace and order, stressing that but for his peaceful disposition the community would have been thrown into choaos.
HRH, Eze Bekwele Weli (JP), said that he organized the party to show love to his people and to use the medium to thank God for enabling them to see the end of the year 2020, and the new year in good health and prosperity.
He urged his people to out behind sad memories.
The royal father thanked the youths, leaders, elders and his council of chiefs for their support, noting that their support and cooperation were the key that would moved the community forward.
He urged them to ensure that they preach peace, love and unity. and most importantly, imbibe the necessary value that will help the community advance appreciably.
