The Chairman of Rumuwele family Rumuchiorlu Community in Rumuokwurusi, Iheanyi Ihunwo has raised alarm over alleged threat to his life by some people suspected to be indigenes of Rumuijiminiwehi Rumuchiorlu and Mgbuori Communities.
He alleged that these people were working with some persons from their neighbouring Iriebe community to grab his family land.
According to him, these people have been contracted to trace his whereabouts and residence in order to eliminate him.
He told journalists that these people have done everything within their power, including tagging him a cultist in a bid to give him a bad name for easy execution of their plot.
Ihunwo said the only reason they are plotting to snuff life out of him is because he has resisted them from taking his family land.
He said he has given the identities of these persons to his family members so that if anything happens to him they should be held responsible.
The Rumuwele family chairman also warned the alleged plotters to desist from their evil plot so that they don’t incur the wrath of the gods.
He appealed to security agents, particularly, the police to take the threat to his life seriously and know who to hold responsible if anything happens to him.
