Obio/Akpor Community Chief Upbeat About Ariolu’s Performance
As the newly elected Local Government Council Chairmen get set to assume office, an illustrious son of the LGA, Chief Godspower Ike Nmasiriele, JP, has express confidence on the ability of the Chairman-elect of Obio Akpor Local Government Area, Hon. (Barr) George Ariolu to do well in office if given the necessary support and encouragement.
Speaking in an interview with journalists at his palace in Oginigba community recently, Chief Nmasiriele said he is upbeat that Ariolu would not disappoint the people who voted massively for him during the Local Government Election in April.
Nmasiriele who is a Chief and elder statesman maintained that there would be optimum performance from Chief Ariolu’s administration, stressing on the need for the people of Obio/Akpor LGA to see what they can do to contribute to the new leadership.
His words, “I expect the people of Obio/Akpor to contribute towards the development of this LGA under the new administration of Barr. Ariolu. We need to rally round him for him to deliver the dividends of democracy”, he pleaded.
Chief Nmasiriele warned cultists and opposition not to distract Barrister Ariolu to enable him serve the people as promised.
He also urged the Chairman-elect to give every indigene of Obio Akpor a sense of belonging in the scheme of things.
