Gov Wike Must Surely Be Remembered – Nwosu
A former Social Democratic Party (SDP) chieftain, Hon. Godwin Nwosu, has commended Governor Nyesom Wike’s developmental strides in the state, describing them as wonderful and remarkable.
Hon. Nwosu, while addressing journalists in Port Harcourt recently said the leadership of Governor Wike has indeed brought general happiness to the people of Rivers State, adding that Governor Wike understood the overwhelming support given to him by the people right from when he was elected the Executive Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, as a former Chief of Staff, former Minister respectively.
He stated that Governor Wike’s developmental strides will always speak volume for the state if mentioned orderly; such projects like the Industrial Court, the Law School, the Cancer treatment centre, the upgrade of Brait Wealth Memorial Hospital to Rivers State University Teaching Hospital etc.
He therefore, called on the people of the state to continue to give full support to the governor, adding that, Governor Nyesom Wike is qualified to be the president of this country in all ramifications.
In the same vein, the former chieftain of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Rivers State now full member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the State also commended the Executive Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area, Engr. Samuel Nwanosike (JP) and other Local Government Area chairmen in their efforts in sustaining the fight against illegal bunkering, pointing out that their contributions with security agents in the fight has given a new hope for the people of state.
Hon. Nwosu also lauded the PDP led by Amb. Desmond Akanwo and Engr. Nwanosike for continuously receiving members of the other political parties into PDP.
According to Hon. Nwosu, a holistic research shows that Engr. Nwanosike is the best Local Government Chairman in Rivers State.
He prayed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to be more united and committed, stressing that the outcome of the recent local government election result of the federal capital territory was a sign that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a failure to the country and an eye opening for the PDP to take over the presidency come 2023 general election.
