National Network Clocks 18, Sets Up Anniversary Planning Committee

The management of National Network newspaper has announced that the media outfit would celebrate its 18th anniversary in October, 2022.

A statement by the Publisher, Pastor Jerry Needam said plans are in top gear for a big celebration, to herald the successes of the newspaper which was established on October 1, 2004.

As part of the ceremony, Pastor Needam said awards would be given to Nigerians who have distinguished themselves in their chosen fields, including recognition to deceased individuals whose impacts to society still spoke volume.

“By God’s divine grace, National Network newspaper has been celebrating her anniversaries, but the upcoming 18th edition promises to be huge.  We intend to make a statement, considering the goodness of God and the numerous challenges that have bedecked the publishing industry. 

“But, God has been awesomely gracious to us and that’s why we want to return all glory to Him, because like He said, if we show gratitude for what He has done, He would do much more for us”, the publisher said.

On the Awards ceremony intended to spice the event, Pastor Needam said the date for nominations and voting would be announced in due course.

The publisher disclosed that a high-powered 18th Anniversary Planning Committee has already been constituted with the Editorial Board Chairman of National Network newspaper, Dr. Barigbon Nsereka as Chairman, the General Manager/Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper, Chris Konkwo as Alternate Chairman while the Editor, Ken Asinobi would serve as Secretary.

Other members are the Deputy Chairman, Editorial Board, Rev. Dr. (Barr) Faraday Iwuchukwu, Dr. Ngozi Anosike, Joe Kalu, Polycarp Nwaeke, James Febebebo, Margret Ikiriko and Wiro Prince.

Also in the committee to plan the august event are Thankgod Nagbara, Enobong Francis, Faith Adah and Festus Ikpendu.
