The traditional ruler of Rumuagholu Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, His Royal Highness Eze Samuel Kinikawo Nyegwa, Eze Nkpor III/Paramount Ruler, Nyeweli Rumuagholu has described the ongoing renovation of community secondary school, Okoro-nu-odu by the Rivers State governor as commendable.
Addressing newsmen in his palace recently, Eze Nyegwa said that Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has proven to the people of Rivers State that he is sent by God to bring smiles on the faces of Rivers people and to return Rivers State to her former status as the farden city of Nigeria.
Eze Nyegwa disclosed that governor Wike remains the best leader in Rivers State especially the Rumuagholu Community, adding that Governor Wike has turned the landscape of his community to another city through his urban renewal programme of road construction in Rumuagholu that has attracted investors to the community.
Hid disclosed Governor Wike’s action for Rumuagholu Community since he became the executive chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area to the time he served as a minister, one time Chief of Staff Government House till date, is an indication that he loves his people.
He stated that the renovation of the community secondary school that was deplorable and a death trap for students and teachers prove that Rumuagholu remains one of the communities the governor cannot forget in hurry.
According to him, the entire Rumuogholu will continue to support Governor Wike and will also extend their loyalty to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Sim Fubara.
Eze Nkpor III used the medium to appeal to Chief Barr. Wike to look into matters relating to chieftaincy in the state especially his community where some persons claimed to be traditional ruler of a community for selfish interest and personal aggradisement. The traditional ruler while frowning at the way and manners land grabbers hijack plots of land belonging to individuals and the general public in collaboration with alleged youths and thugs called on the law enforcement agency, Rivers State Government to intervene, arrest and prosecute land grabbers so that they would lean their leassons.
He promised to protect and project the lives and properties of Rumuagholu Community stressing that the Supreme Court judgement delivered in the past in favour of his community remains sacrosanct and good evidence that continues to seek volume for the people.
Eze Nyagwa appealed to political parties and their candidates to play the game with ease and fear of God come 2023, believing that, it is only God that makes leaders ad not human.
