The Rivers State deputy governor, Dr (Mrs) Ipalibo Harry Banigo has been described as a good democrat who will make a good representation for the people of Rivers South West Senatorial Zone when elected into office in less than one month to the forth coming general election.
One of her coordinators, Hon (Mrs) Okorite Carrie Adiele stated this in a chat with newsmen over the weekend in course of her unit to unit electioneering campaign for PDP candidates.
She made it known that her team is working vigorously to drum support for Dr Banigo’s senatorial aspiration as well as other flag bearers of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) inorder for the party to consolidate on its achievements for these past years. She assured the electorate of better days ahead, stressing the popular idiom that says” ”whatever a man can do, a woman can do it even better”.
According to her “I have no doubt that Dr Ipalibo Harry Banigo is going to give a good account of herself in the red chamber” she said.
In the same vain Mrs Adiele said the state gubernatorial candidate, Hon Sir Siminalyi Fubara and his running mate Prof. Ngozi Odu are eminently qualified, ready and willing to take over power and consolidate on the achievements of the Wike administration these past years having been an insider from the system.
She recalled that Hon. (Mrs) Betti Apiafi whom the deputy governor is going to take over from at the national assembly was not hidden but always heard fighting for the improvement of her peoples welfare especially during the flood disaster and promised that the deputy governor will consolidate on her achievements too.
She also lauded the sterling qualities of Hon Peter Abe, PDP candidate for Degema State Constituency, appealing to the electorate to also vote for him in order for him to actualize the good plans he has for the council area.
Hon ( Mrs) Adiele a media guru, used the opportunity to appeal to the State Governor, His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike to always hang around to make his wealth of experience available for the party and his successor in the interest of the state.
She equally urged the electorate to obtain their PVCs and vote the umbrella symbol of PDP for continuity and consolidation sake, adding that the roads and infrastructural development of the Wike administration has made their job a lot easier.
