…Dedicate Award To God In Omagwa
It was a celebration galore, Sunday, May 7, 2023 as guests and worshippers from different denominations gathered in their numbers to join Ezeochas in thanking and praising God at Jesus the Healer Int’l Church Headquarters, Omagwa, Ikwerre Local Government Areas of Rivers State.
The event was the formal conferment of Eminent Peace Ambassadors showered on the Ezeocha’s family by the International Association of World Peace Advocates for being gifted as custodians of peace in the State.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after decorating the General Overseer of the Church, Rev. Dr. Justice Chinedu Ezeocha with the prestigious International University honorary doctorate degree award, Prof. Epegu David Maravy, the Director of the institution said the Senate decided to honour him in view of his contribution to global peace, stressing that by this award, he can travel to any part of the world to broker peace.
He observed that Rev. Ezeocha has at various times and places demonstrated peace initiatives just to reconcile warring individuals and organizations, sometimes going the extra mile to withdraw pending court cases for settlement not in only his immediate community, Omagwa, but also outside his environment including the Airport where he is currently working.
In his remarks, Senior Pastor Robert Isaac noted that Rev Amb. Ezeocha and the rest of his family members have been known to him for over-twenty years as peace-loving people, pointing out that their exemplary peaceful disposition has continued to attract more God’s blessings to the family and finally urged them to sustain the tempo.
Responding, the celebrant, Rev. Justice Ezeocha posited that the vision and mission of the family is to champion the crusade of making peace within and outside their environment, adding that since peace is an essential ingredient of human existence and without it, there can never be progress and development in any society and thanked God for the accomplishment of this feat as well as the manifestation of the dream.
