ICA Nigeria Chapter Congratulates Members Over Laudable Achievements

The International Communication Association (ICA) Nigeria Chapter has congratulated two of its members, Dr. Obari Gomba and Ms Ashley Stewart, all of the University of Port Harcourt over their recent laudable achievements.

Dr. Obari Gomba, a writer and lecturer is the winner of the prestigious Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) Nigerian Prize for Literature for 2023.

Nominated for the fifth time for the coveted prize, Dr. Gomba was announced winner by Prof. Akachi Ezeigbo, Chairman of the Prize Advisory Board on October 13, for his recent book on drama titled ‘Grit’.

In another development, Ms Ashley Stewart was on October 13, 2023 elected International Liaison, Visual Communication of the International Communication Association.

The ICA Nigeria Chapter Chair, Ekaete George in a statement said ICA Nigeria Chapter is delighted to celebrate the hardwork and commitment to excellence that distinguishes its members around the world, and wished Dr. Obari Gomba and Ashley Stewart greater breakthroughs as they continue to excel in their endeavours.
