Mr. Mark Godfirst has emerged best graduating student in Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku.
Elated by the development, the Executive Chairman, Ogba/ Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Hon. Vincent Job, DSSRS, JP presented to him a cheque of N1,000,000 as part of his administration’s drive to encourage educational advancement of the Local Government.
Making the presentation, Hon. Job, while congratulating the student for his outstanding performance called on others to put in interest in the study of Mathematics, as it is the pivot on which Sciences revolve.
Similarly, the sum of N200,000 was presented to Miss Victory Olowu, Obusor for giving a painted portrait of the Executive Chairman.
Miss Olowu who is also a student of Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku was admonished to keep up her good works of arts and encourage others to emulate.
The Chairman described her work as wonderful and pledged his administration’s resolve to give priority attention to education as always.
