Rivers Info Commissioner Applauds Gov Fubara For Development Efforts

The Commissioner for Information and Communications in Rivers State, Warisenibo Joseph Johnson, has commended Governor Siminalayi Fubara for successful navigation of people-oriented development policies and programmes within the past years of this administration of the state.

Speaking with newsmen recently in Port-Harcourt on the Governor’s infrastructural initiatives and transformation and other nagging issues, Johnson lauded the administration of the Governor for providing the eluded development of the oil and gas- rich state, in terms of projects initiation and execution.

Johnson described the State Chief Security Officer of performing excellently well in governance of the state, which he said, surpasses previous administrations.

He said despite distractions from the other political divide over supremacy and control of resources of the state, the Governor remain on track as far as the rejuvenation of Rivers State and its people is concerned.

Johnson further urged Rivers people to rally support for the Governor and his team to be able to discharge his mandate effectively.

On civil service reforms, Johnson described Rivers State Governor, Dr Siminalayi Fubara for being the best worker- friendly Governor since the emergence of democratic rule over twenty years ago.

Concerning the recent conferment of Doctor of Science degree (Honoris Causa) by the PAMO University of Medical Sciences, Port Harcourt as a result of his reformation crusade of the health sector, among other issues. He, however, enjoined the people to keep on backing the Governor and his team of technocrats to concentrate on their responsibility of rebuilding the porous state economy, abandoned by past administrations.
