Wodi Lauds Wike Over Rehabilitation Of Elelenwo School Road
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Leader for Ward 5, Elelenwo Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Chief Prince Wodi has expressed appreciation to the Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike for the reconstruction of the road leading to the Archdeacon Growther Memorial Girls Secondary School, Elelenwo Community.
Chief Wodi while speaking with journalists on the sidelines of the road commissioning, said he is so glad that the Governor has reconstructed and completed the road to the suprrise of some people who thought that the road would not be given attention within the tenure of the Wike administration.
Prince Wodi who recalled how deplorable and impassable the road was before govt intervention, added that it was a relief for the people of Elelenwo especially the schools located along that axis.
Upon the governor promise to reconstruct all the internal roads in Elelenwo Community, Chief Wodi said he was not worried whether the promise will be fulfilled, stressing that the Wike administration has always kept to promises made to the people.
Chief Wodi also commended the reelected House of Representatives member for Obio Akpor Federal constituency, Hon Kingsley Chinda for being a dependable ally of the Governor which he stated was the reason Elelenwo people have benefited so much from the current administration.
The PDP Ward 5 Chairman equally congratulated the Rivers Governor-Elect, Amaopusenibo Siminilaiye Joseph Fubara and his Deputy Prof. Ngozi Ordu on their resounding victory at the Governorship election and urged them not to lower the standard set by the current administration in the state.
