I Didn’t Do Christmas Because Of Customer Service – Refrigerator Technician
As Port Harcourt residents enjoyed celebrating the 2019 Christmas, taking time to relax with their family members, a refrigerator Technician who refused to go on holiday has stated that he stayed back so that he could provide essential services to the people based on the significance of his services to households.
In an interview, Mr. Kenneth Kalu, who specializes on maintainance and repairs of refrigerators, air conditioners and washing machine said that he was able to serve many people and make good money during the past Yuletide.
“This Christmas was particularly good for me because I got called from customers who needed my services to repair their freezers and fridges particularly. Their appliances develop electrical faults at that crucial time and they needed to fix it.
“You can imagine if people like us will close shop and go on Christmas holiday, what that means is that many homes will not be able to preserve whatever they have.
“I can tell you I stayed back and made money from fixing some of these appliances, from simple electrical faults to those that really needed serious repairs, said the technician.
According to him those who provide essential services remained key to sustenance of of life during public holidays.
At his Omoi-Orosi shop, along Psychiatric Hospital Road, Kalu was busy putting his skills to work to help customers solve problems associated with their refrigerators.
