The Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro Felix Obuah has terminated the contract of Eskadel Consulting Services – COVERING – Stadium Road from Elekahia to Aba Road by Airforce Road Junction, for non-performance, with effect from Friday, January 31, 2020.

The Sole Administrator, Bro Obuah took the decision on Friday, January 31, 2020 in a meeting with defaulting Service Providers contracted by the Agency.

He also issued a one month warning grace to the following Service Providers, to keep their areas clean or have their contracts terminated.

They are:

Datt Technologies Ltd  – COVERING  – East-West Road from Clendac Filling Station to Okporo Road Junction, Periscope (Nig) Limited – COVERING  – from Okporo Road by 1st Artillery to East-West Road and adjoining areas, Celeac Global Enterprises Ltd – COVERING  – GRA Phase 1, 2 and 3 from Hotel Presidential to Tombia  Extension by Ikwerre Road and all of New GRA to Cherubim Road Bridge, Jondis Project Limited  –   Picking and Anti-litter Control – COVERING  – from UTC Junction up to Airforce Junction along Aba Road and New GRA, NDPEE Resources (Nig) – Picking and Anti-litter Control – COVERING – along Ikwerre Road from Mile One to Rumuokoro and along Rumuola Road from Aba Road to Rumuokwuta Junction, C-Michael Integrated Serv. Ltd – COVERING – D/Line, Fruit Garden Market and its environs, High Favive Global – COVERING – East-West Road, from Nkpolu Apara School to Rumuokoro Roundabout and Womack Engineering – COVERING – East-West Road to Obiri Ikwerre to Rumuosi.

Bro Obuah directed all Road Sweepers to henceforth ensure that in addition to all weekdays, they should also work on weekends and public holidays.

The Sole Administrator, also warned Service Providers to desist from setting fire on wastes dumped at  receptacles, as defaulting Service Providers caught would also have their contracts terminated. 

Bro Obuah directed owners of waste disposal trucks parked along Ada George Road to remove them within 48 hours, warning that failure to do so, any waste disposal truck found parked indiscriminately along Ada George or along any other road in Port Harcourt, the State capital and its environs, would be impounded.
