Traditional Ruler Commends Gov Wike For Commissioning Of Projects, Urges Support
A traditional ruler in Port-Harcourt City Local Government Area, HRH Eze Owabie Tobin, has commended the governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike, for executing and commissioning projects in the state.
Speaking in an interview, Eze Tobin, who is Onumini I of Ikwerre in Rebisi, Diobu, said that Governor Wike executed and commissioned projects in his first term and was continuing the trend in his second term, saying that there were governors who would not have anything to do with execution of projects in their second term.
He appealed to the people of the state to rather support the governor in his bid to transform the state saying those who tried to criticize him did not mean well for the state.
He also appealed to those expecting projects to be sited in their domains to be patient with the governor and expect him to carry out projects in their areas, saying that they should be assured the governor would execute projects in their areas.
He said that the governor was governor for the state and not only Ikwerres, saying that he would satisfy the needs of the people of the state.
Meanwhile, HRH Tobin appealed to the governor of Rivers State to recognize his chieftaincy stool.
He said that he was the only Royal Highness in Diobu and had not been recognized and appealed to the government to recognize his chieftaincy stool.
