Omerelu Kingdom Expresses Gratitude To Gov Wike Over Rehabilitation Of Internal Roads

The Omerelu Kingdom in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State has expressed their gratitude to the State governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, for remembering to include them in the rehabilitation of its internal roads in the next phase of its project execution.

Speaking with newsmen in his palace over the weekend at Omerelu, the Paramount Ruler/Nyenwe Ala of the Kingdom, HRH, Eze (Engr.) Ben O. Ugo (JP) (Elumuoha VIII) said “the entire people of Omerelu Kingdom in Ikwerre LGA woke up on May 6, 2021 to hear the “first of its kind good news” in the history of Omerelu.

That Omerelu has joined the rest of other clans in Rivers State to enjoy internal roads reconstruction and expansion.

The monarch said indeed the announcement was a pleasant surprise to them which set the people into spontaneous jubilation.

He stated further that the people of Omerelu will remain eternally grateful to Governor Wike for this wonderful gesture, adding that the development has added more feathers to the numerous developmental strides the governor has extended to the Omerelu Kingdom.

According to the Royal father, “My people are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude for this show of “true love” and administrative excellence from the Dike Ohna I of Ikwerre land,” he declared.

He also commended the governor for what he called his proactive efforts in protecting lives and property of Rivers people and residents, urging him not to relent even after his tenure as governor but be ready to make his talent and courageous leadership qualities available for the benefit of the entire country.

He used the opportunity to reassure the governor of their continous support to his administration at all times.
