Gov Wike’s Two Years Of Second Term: You’ve Justified Our Mandate – Rt. Hon. Dum Dekor
Rt. Hon Dumnamene Robinson Dekor, the federal lawmaker representing Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency in the National Assembly says he is not surprised at the volume of encomiums and congratulatory messages streaming from different personalities, groups, institutions and the Rivers people in appreciation of Governor Nyesom Wike as he marks a successful completion of the second year of his second term in office.
To the federal lawmaker, this shows that His Excellency is being appreciated by the majority of the masses of Rivers people which is tantamount to an irrevocable vote of confidence on the Governor.
Rt. Hon Dekor, former Deputy Speaker of the State Legislature, former Commissioner for Works and currently, Chairman, House of Representatives’ Committee on Host Communities believes Governor Wike is just destined to be the man to lead Rivers State at this time in history.
According to the Ogoni born lawmaker and grassroots mobilizer, Governor Wike feels the pulse of the people and goes not just for any project but those ones that directly impact the lives of the people, the height of it being the just commissioned cassava processing company in Afam, Oyigbo Local Government Area aimed at boosting agriculture as well as offering jobs to the numerous youths.
“We cannot but thank our great party, the PDP, for the choice of Governor Wike when it mattered most and to our good people of Rivers State, I also doff my hat for giving His Excellency their votes, the mandate he has eminently justified by his superlative performance”, Rt. Hon Dekor noted.
He said even the vision impaired can see the numerous projects that presently dot the landscape of the State which according to him, are eloquent testimonies of Gov Wike’s industry, evidencing a new dawn of a purposeful administration in the anals of Rivers State history.
Rt. Hon Dekor, while urging all Rivers people to continue to support and pray for Gov Wike administration for more ground breaking projects, pledged his unalloyed support to him, wishing him a brighter future as he steps into his third year of the second term in office.
