…As Golf Tournament Tees Off At PH Club (Golf Section)
Activities marking the closing ceremony of the week-long National Festival of Arts and Culture, tagged NAFEST Rivers 2018 will round off at the Sharks Stadium in Port Harcourt by 12 noon tomorrow, Saturday, October 27, 2018.
A statement by the Festival Media and Publicity Committee said the closing ceremony would be preceded by a Cultural Golf Tournament among the participating States, adding that the event would commence at 6.00 am at the Golf Section of Port Harcourt Club along Forces Avenue, Old GRA, Port Harcourt.
It noted that the Golf tournament would be thrilling as the event would feature some of the house-hold names in Nigerian Golf.
The Festival Media and Publicity Committee assured the good people of the State and all participants, that the occasion would be spiced with spectacular performances such as calisthenics and cultural displays.
The NAFEST Rivers 2018 Media/Publicity Committee also expressed its appreciation to Rivers people and friends of the State for their impressive turnout so far in the festival and urged them to replicate same gesture tomorrow for the Closing Ceremony.
