The Eze Ekpeye Logbo in Council, the supreme council of traditional rulers in Ekpeye ethnic nationality, has announced the peaceful transition to the great beyond of His Imperial Majesty, Eze Flt. Lt. Robinson O Robinson, the Eze Ekpeye Logbo 11 of Ekpeye land.
In a press conference today at Ekpeye House, Ahoada in Ahoada East LGA of Rivers state, the Eze Igbu Upata 111, His Majesty, Eze Felix Otuwarikpo on behalf of Eze Ekpeye Logbo in council said the peaceful passage of Eze Ekpeye Logbo 11, the Igunelima of our time, happened after 40 years of his reign as Eze Ekpeye Logbo 11 on the throne
The formal announcement was followed with 21 traditional canon shots across the Ekpeye nation with a visit to the palace of Eze Ekpeye Logbo 11 at Odiereke Ubie
Eze Otuwarikpo on behalf of the six kingdoms of Ubie, Akoh, Igbuduya, Upata, Ehuda(Ahoada) and Ugbobi of Ekpeye ethnic nationality, said burial arrangement of the great Iroko of our time will be announced later.
