APC Members In Onelga Back Wike, PDP

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State have unanimously resolved to vote for the re-election of Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, and the two House of Assembly candidates in the area during the March 9, 2019 Governorship and House of Assembly Elections.

They have therefore directed all APC members and supporters of both Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and Senator Magnus Abe factions in ONELGA to adhere strictly to the resolution and act accordingly.

The decision was taken at an APC stakeholders meeting held at the residence of a Chieftain of the party loyal to Chibuike Amaechi at Omoku, headquarter of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area last weekend.

The party members gave many reasons for their decisions to throw their weight behind Governor Wike as include all the good things (Projects and Appointments) he did for ONELGA people, philanthropic nature of Rivers State PDP Chairman, Bro Felix Amaechi Obuah which has no boundary, use and dump attitude of some APC leader in ONELGA among others.

According to a spokesman of the group, Barrister Johnson Igwebuike, the ONELGA APC members decision to vote Governor E. N Wike for a 2nd term does not mean they have dumped APC but primarily to pay back Governor Wike for good things he and their son, Bro Felix Amaechi Obuah (Go Round) have done for ONELGA people.

He accused some Elders of the party in the area especially those close to the leader of the party in the State, Rt. Hon. C. R. Amaechi of doing them the more you look, the less you see by pocketing/hijacking money meant for the party and run away to Port Harcourt.

Barrister Igwebike further disclosed that their decision to back Governor Wike and other PDP Candidates for re-election has the full backing of ONELGA APC Exco, Ward Excos and some Elders of the party.
