Gov Wike’s Re-election: We are Not Surprised, He Is God-Sent – KUPIGG
The Kalabari Unity Project Initiative for Good Governance (KUPIGG) says the re-election of Governor Nyesom Wike for a second term was divinely ordained.
A statement jointly signed by the president and press secretary of the Group, Hon Comr. Jerry Horsfall and Hon. Ake-Odium Wokoma respectively said Gov Wike was God-sent as a messiah to Rivers people, stressing that they were not surprised at his landslide victory.
The KUPIGG leadership in conjunction with its sole patron, Engr. Victor Obuzor congratulated Governor Wike on his well deserved victory and pledged the unalloyed support of all the Kalabari people whom the Group described as committed supports of Governor Wike.
The KUPIGG leadership also in the statement congratulated all the victorious PDP candidates of the Kalabari extraction in the just concluded general elections notably Hon. Betty Apiafi, first female Senator-elect for Rivers West Senatorial District, Hon Boma Goodhead, member, Fed House of Reps for Akuku-Toru/Asari-Toru Federal Constituency, Hon Doctor Farah Dagogo, member-elect for Degema/Bonny Federal Constituency and Hon. Anthony Soberekon, member-elect for Degema State Constituency (RSHA).
The Group also expressed its appreciation for daring all odds and coming out in their numbers to vote Governor Wike and all the PDP candidates.
They prayed God to grant the representatives life and wisdom to serve the people well.
