The governorship candidate of the Accord Party in Rivers State, Sir Precious Baritordo Baridoo, has raised alarm over several threats to his life by unknown persons.
The Accord Party candidate in a statement by his Press Secretary, Mr. Augustine Tanee released in Port Harcourt on Tuesday 5th March, 2019, disclosed that some persons have been calling Sir Precious with private numbers threatening to kill him if he does not withdraw his political ambition.
According to the statement, Sir Precious being a law-abiding citizen has written to security agencies in connection with this development.
The statement further disclose that the threat becomes intermittent and severe after winning his case in court last week.
According to the press statement, even members of Sir Precious’s family are not left out of this threat.
Meanwhile, Sir Precious has called on his supporters and members of the Accord Party in Rivers State to remain calm and law-abiding and maintain their support for the party in the State.
Sir Precious called on all members of Accord Party in the State to participate in the election this weekend by coming out to cast their votes.
