Riddles, Jokes Fulfilled As OPM Opens Another Free School At Ada-George, PH

Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries (OPM) has consistently maintained that the motive for the establishment of charity institutions namely free schools, free restaurants, free hospitals, free residential estates, free skills acquisition centres among others is to win more souls for salvation so that hell will be depopulated to the advantage of Heaven, the abode of God’s children.

The agitating question is “How then do these free facilities translate into wining souls for God?”

Dr. Chibuzor Chinyere used the official opening and, or commissioning of the free school at Ada-George, Port Harcourt recently to throw more light to this divine mathematical theory.

According to the ‘controversial’ man of God who insists spending church money on material things rather than using same to enlarge the coast of the Christendom amounts to fraud, to provide these facilities especially for the indigent, the less privileged, orphans and widows is to invest in Heaven as opposed to earthly investments.

Substantiating his position, Apostle Chinyere disclosed that as soon as the first OPM free school commenced, it’s like the tap of finance was opened and money started pouring in through offerings and tithes etc, and with the multiplied finances all the OPM free institutions began to spread, Ada-George centre being the 13th of such free schools in Rivers State.

“When God is involved in any investment, He makes the resources available,” the radical man of God declared.

The OPM G.O. unequivocally stated that crimes start little by little if the children are starved, deprived, abandoned with no future at sight and no one to care for them, stressing that upon growing up still in that frustration, some of them become thieves, terrorists, cultists, fraudsters, kidnappers, sex hawkers etc.

Apostle Chinyere believes through the free schools and free skill acquisition facilities, most of these children left to be doomed will be saved and while undergoing training will be taught the word of God and their spiritual life uplift and commitment to their Creator in a manner that is understandable and meaningful to them.

And to ensure that only those targeted for the free schools and others benefit from the programme, Apostle Chinyere said the OPM has devised a technique through the welfare department overseen by Mrs. Maureen Chukwu to visit the families of the beneficiaries to ascertain that only the targets are reached.

He re-echoed his usual call to other pastors and the clergy generally to ensure that church money is not diverted to ostentatious living and building schools and higher institutions that are beyond the reach of the poor, calling that “unacceptable” to God.

“If every pastor should build a free or affordable school with the church money within their areas of operation or as the Lord directs, definitely, the rate of crime in our society will be reduced to the barest minimum,” Apostle Chinyere argued.

Among the dignitaries that witnessed the Ada-George OPM Free School include the President of the Niger Delta Bishops and Ministers Forum, His Eminence, Archbishop Julius Ediwe who was full of praises for the Omega Power Ministries and its General Overseer, Apostle Gift Chibuzor Chinyere.

The Bishop spotted for special commendation the sick bay, the medical personnel available to attend to the medical needs of the pupils and the computer section, comparing the standards to what obtains overseas.

Among the side attractions were automatic admission to the four children of a Garbonese woman who was also given free accommodation at OPM free residential estate and a cash of five hundred thousand (500,000) naira to start a business, and three Muslim children also admitted into the OPM free school.

The OPM experience has thus fulfilled the riddles that “the more you give, the more you will get back”, “No one is impoverished by giving”; “He who prays for others, is heard for himself” and Happiness belongs to those who think of others”.
