Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has directed all staff of Government House, Port Harcourt to undergo Covid-19 tests.
The Governor gave the directive in Government House, Port Harcourt when the Executive Director, BUA Foundation presented him with three ambulances to support the fight against Covid-19.
The directive was contained in a statement signed by Commissioner for lnformation and Communications, Paulinus Nsirim.
The governor disclosed that more tests would be done to enable the government quickly respond to Covid-19 cases in the state.
He explained that through testing more cases would rise and advised that people should not be ashamed of undergoing Covid-19 testing as no fewer than 38 persons have died of Covid-19 complications.
The governor said he directed all staff of Government House to go for testing to ascertain asymptotic cases adding that the State was not relenting to save lives.
